Be Grateful. Imagine if you had nothing but still danced and smiled like this little bloke? Being grateful is something most of us, including myself, could be more aware of.
✅ Being grateful is strongly associated with greater happiness.
✅ How do I be more grateful?
- keep a gratitude journal - don’t be picky: start appreciating the small things (hang out with a small child they’re excellent at this) - make saying ‘thank you’ more meaningful and express your gratitude to others

🏀 I grew up with lots of dreams and for many years did zero about them. I would do a lot of talking but not much doing. My brother used to call me ‘gunna’ - in that I’m going to do this, and I’m going to do that.
🏀 As I’ve got older I’ve improved and talk less and take action more quickly. I’m far from perfect, however!
🏀 My point is - DON'T BE LIKE ME AND WAIT! If you have a dream or a goal, don’t wait for permission to start - just start! 😀

💪 Benefits of being Stronger
- you’ll probably live longer! Strength Training reduces your risk of heart disease and diabetes. - you’ll be happier 😀 as Strength Training helps with depression and anxiety - you’ll sleep better - you’ll lose weight - you’ll have a faster metabolism and more energy - your Immune System will be primed and strong. Less illness! - you’ll be able to lift things, open jars, go up steps, get in/out of your car more easily. Everything, life, is easier if you’re strong!
💪 How often?
- not much, anytime you train you benefit. However faster results come from: 3 x week for 30 minutes
💪 Is it safe?
- Yes but I recommend you follow a program prepared by a fitness professional, especially if you’re new to it.
💪 If you don’t use your muscles body essentially loses them. But at any age, you can get them back! Don’t wait any longer to start getting stronger today.
